Control of Nonconforming Product
13.1 General

Foqus, Inc. has established and maintains a documented procedure QP-013 to ensure that the product-service that does not conform to specified requirements is prevented form unintended use. This control provides for identification, documentation, evaluation, segregation, and disposition of the nonconforming product-service and notification of the functions concerned.

13.2 Review and Disposition of Nonconforming Product-Service

QP-013 defines the responsibility for review and authority for the disposition of the nonconforming product-service. Each nonconforming product is reviewed for the following disposition criteria:

  • reworked to meet the specified requirements,
  • accepted with or without repair by concession for other uses,
  • re-graded for alternative applications, or
  • rejected or scrapped

Repaired and/or reworked product is re-inspected per the quality plan and not released unless it meets all the specified requirements.

Records of the review of the nonconforming product-service are retained, see QP-016.
