Title: Control of Trial Documentation

1.0 Purpose

Creating documents that temporarily override the MS, for the purpose of trying out process changes prior to formal integration into the system.

2.0 Scope and Responsibility
MS Manager is responsible for the trial documentation development and implementation.

2.0 Task Description

2.1
The control of the trial documentation is just as important as any other MS Documents. The Trial Documents over-ride temporarily the current documents. Employees are informed and trained in the use of trial procedure. The procedure is clearly marked in the top Header with the following information:

TRIAL Number: _______
TRIAL: Effective as of ______(Date) and Expires as of _____(Date).

Supersedes: ___________

2.2 A trial duration will not exceed more than 3 months. At that time a document needs to be:

a)

Removed to obsolete documents, and new trial issued if longer trial is necessary.

b)

Removed to obsolete documents. All affected employees notified that the trial is no longer in use.

c) Formally issued and incorporated into the system.

2.3 MS Manager tracks all the Trials and their status in the MSP-DB-001 Document Matrix.
